My little girly side table- it is love.
It's so simple, but my side table + decor is one of my favorite areas of my entire apartment. I got the table for $15 and painted it peach, threw on a $1.99 lace doilie, some books, a box of caramels and candle- and BAM! Perfection.
Speaking of my apartment, it isssssss *deep breath* 88% complete. SO CLOSE. Just tying up the loose ends!! I need to craft some curtains (or something that resembles a curtain), buy one last piece of furniture, hang some photos… and that's about it! AW YEAAAAH! I'm so happy with the turnout, can't wait to show you guys everything! I will try to do a tour within the next few months ^_^

ReplyDeleteAnd real quick questin: have you played Ni No Kuni on PS3? Im interest because Studio Ghibli helped make it and I know how much you love Studio Ghibli. If not you neeed too. Its kind of like pokemon at times:)
I have not! When it originally came out, I was so excited for it!!! But the demo left me feeling… meh. So I never got it. But it looks beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI'm going for that "perfectly-imperfect" look with all my furniture, so I just cleaned it up real nice, slapped some primer on it and then hand painted it with flat paint! EASY! ^_^

ReplyDeleteOh my goshhhh. So much love for the Sweet Shop collection. Almost killed a bitch when I went into Bath and Body Works last weekend and saw the summer stuff has already taken its place. I pretty much bought out the rest of the Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut mason jar candles online after that.

Anyway, what I am getting to is that during that time, I was heartbroken and crushed about losing my home and all of my things. One thing that kept me going, as weird as it sounds, were your videos and blog. It gave me hope that I could rebuild my new, empty home into something new (kind of like yours when you moved into your new studio) and turn it into a dreamy place that I love and I'll be happy to come home to.
I know this is long, but I just wanted to share with you how much your videos mean to some of us. It's more than just a video or a blog post you make sometimes, it can sometimes be inspiration and motivation to not give up when things go badly.

OMG Kalel your home is so beautiful, I LOVE IT! One day i want to have a room exactly like yours unfortunately right now i can't because my mum can't afford because we rent so i cannot paint or hang up wall art and it is my dream to design my room in that way. But i am so excited because at the end of the year my mum is buying a house and i get to design it in the way that i want to and also i am going to Japan!!!!! Yay!!!!!!
