Ahhh perfumes. How I love to admire your beauty.
This is my current collection {Lollia Wish, Tocca Brigette, Chloé, Prada Candy L'Eau, Cartier Goutte de Rose, Miss Dior (Toilette) & True Religion} and I have them displayed on this drool-worthy vintage tray that I bought for TEN DOLLARS at a flea market. But seriously... what is it about perfumes that makes us women swoon? I just feel like I have so much appreciation for the aesthetics of ANYTHING, really. I'm just such a visual person. I will HONESTLY convince myself that I like the smell of a perfume, if the bottle design suits my fancy. You know you have a problem when... ^_^
You have such a nice collection of perfumes, so jealous lol ^_^.
ReplyDeleteWhich one does Anthony like best?
Hope to hear more from you soon Kalel! :]
<3always, Leah.
Where do you buy your perfumes?
ReplyDeleteI've seen all of those at Sephora
DeleteAwesome! Thanks! =]
DeleteThat is so adorable! I wish I had an eye for design like yours.
ReplyDeleteI know it's so cute
DeleteSo cute! <3 And I completely agree with you, I always look at the bottles first and THEN I smell them! XD
ReplyDeleteI love Prada candy and Chloé... smell so good!!

I am literally the exact same way; if a perfume looks pretty, I will convince myself that I like the smell because I just need to own pretty bottles. The only difference is that I'm stuck keeping them on my vanity instead of on a lovely tray like you have. By any chance, will you be posting Christmas-related posts? I know there's only 8 days left, but I'm still holding out for some because Christmas is the besthaha.
ReplyDeleteI really want to do Christmas posts!! Ah! Where has the time gone? This month has been so hectic. But I REALLLLLLY want to film a Christmas-themed apartment tour! I may try and squeeze it in this week! :)
DeleteI would love to see an apartment tour Kalel! I am moving in around 6 months or so, and would love some inspiration from you ^_^
DeleteThat is an awesome idea =D i would love to see how you decorated your apartment Kalel =D you are an inspiration and i love your style =DD, you are very artistic =D.
DeleteOmg the tray looks so nice, and i think i also have this perfume problem! x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful display, Kalel! Great score in that vintage tray.
ReplyDeletethank you!!! ^_^
DeleteI love the perfume tray and I can totally relate to the perfume bottle situation!
ReplyDeleteVery kawaii :3 such a cool collection!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Kalel! I can't wait for Christmas posts. You rock, gal! P.S. I have Miss Dior... I love it! <3, Lily
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed how heavy the Tocca perfume bottle is?! That gets me every time. If it's a heavy bottle, it has to be luxurious and awesome.
ReplyDeleteThey are SO beautiful. Even the box it comes in is so lovely!!!
DeleteI like the collection...Very Kawaii!!!
ReplyDeleteNice collection!
ReplyDeleteThat is so adorable! So kawaii. ^^.

It looks like absolutely your style ^^
ReplyDeleteOnly $10.00? Steal!
ReplyDeleteI am the EXACT same with perfume bottles. If it's cute, 100% guarantee I will love it. Unless of course it's repulsive. You have such a nice collection, topped off with that tray. Mine unfortunately are in drawers in my bathroom xP
I see you plan to do a Christmas Apartment Tour! That sounds great! I'd love to see what you have done around your house...we have a similar taste in decor so it is always nice to see what you have come up with! ^ - ^
Maybe you and Anthony could do a Holiday Question Tag themed video or another attempt at a gingerbread house? Those would be cute! :3
Happy Holidays!
OMG WANT *_*
ReplyDeletethanks for new blog post and the new video, I left a comment on your vid asking for a new blog post, and ta dah! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a bath and body works problem everytime I come out I nd up with about $25 worths of products
ReplyDeletewhich flea market you go?? I've tried to look for some here in Pasadena (not too common thing here) but I wanna go somewhere in LA. :D
ReplyDeleteLove to see your blog posts Kalel! Those perfume bottles look DIVINE. I definitely find it worth buying more expensive perfumes because they tend to last A LOT longer than any old body mist/spray. I use up like half the bottle of a body mist just to make sure that there is an actual smell LOL! With a high-end perfumes, I only do a couple of pumps and I'm out the door. If I put them on a sweater I wear again before I wash it, the scent lingers and it amazing
ReplyDeleteim trying to look for a tray like this! :)
ReplyDeletehttp://justeverythingbrittany.blogspot.com
70% of the time i buy a bottle of perfume because i like the bottle more then the perfume!
ReplyDeleteI also have my perfumes on an antique tray, i think the bottles look lovely when they are all together and displayed nicely. I am loving these posts!
Totally understand! I have so many perfumes I dont know what to do with myself :)
ReplyDeleteI ended up making a fragrance area in the corner of my bedroom with my collection of perfumes (And my fiance's, like, TWO colognes), and to be quite honest it ended up looking like a cult's shrine to the fragrance gods. It's a rose-gold colored platter with candles, and it's placed in front of a mirror. The candles combined with the shapes of the bottles give a very nice ethereal glow to them.
ReplyDeleteBut, at the same time, I look over and know that out of the 20 perfumes I own, I only use three -nervous laugh- The people who make the bottles really know their stuff.
I love the Chloe perfume it's one of my favourites! This post has just reminded me to go & get a new bottle!
ReplyDeleteI love you posts, you're sense of style is great!

hey kalel, i really want to try mac products but i have no clue where to start. So i was wondering if you could do a likes and dislikes on mac products? please and thank you (:
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you when you said you convince yourself you like the smell of a perfume if you like the bottle. I'm a sucker for packaging and names of perfumes..like the whole TokyoMilk line..that name (and their bottles) themselves are just drool worthy. Addicted for sureee
ReplyDeletek.f.c. =P
so jealous of the perfume tray! I am on a serious hunt for a perfume tray (mirrored or eclectically designed) and a mirrored bar tray (to show off my decanters and pretty bar wear) to hunt the flea markets this weekend I think!

Oo love it! I've just purchased one for my make up! Makes the morning 'getting-ready' a little more bearable. May have to get one for perfumes too – only for the prettiest bottles though :)

Don't reply--I don't need one--I just had a dream about you and thought you might find it entertaining to read-
ReplyDeleteYou were helping out with a Smosh video--you were going to be IN the Smosh video as a main character. It was set in a waterfall/canoe area. You guys were taking pictures to be put on twitter and a lot of animated gifs--one was you kissing/making out with a breathing tube. :p You were wearing your glasses and your hair kinda down to your neck/shoulder area but in a messy-cute and wet ponytail. It was you, Anthony, Ian, and some guest star person. Somehow you were the only one with wet hair so far although I don't remember the guest star. So you guys took pictures in the water, lots of poses...and finally you guys were shot going down the waterfall in plain, clear boxy boats that looked like they would be edited in processing. You guys were silent going down, and your screams would be dubbed in. Looked like it would be a hell of a Smosh adventure video. :p
That's it lol. Have a great Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday! (or Sunday)
You MUST TO TRY Calvin Klein's EUPHORIA! It's not really a pretty bottle or anything, pretty simples BUTT the smell ....... O.O mmmmmmmmmm! ME GUSTA.
ReplyDeleteLove perfume, as I am an ADDICT! Why do we love it? Because who DOESN'T want to smell lovely all the time?! Unlike diets and fad clothing, fragrance adds an ambience that can be had by everyone -- equally. :-)
